Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Bridgeport

A local resident is also the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unnamed resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Thursday, that resident claimed a winning 10X Cash 16th Edition ticket that was bought at Swift Mart on Capital Avenue.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $10 per ticket, began in May 2022, and as of Monday, 11 grand prizes of $10,000 remained unclaimed. A new version of the game, the 17th edition, was released earlier this month.

More than 5.2 million game tickets of the 16th edition have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.95.
