An unnamed local resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unnamed Bridgeport resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Wednesday, the person claimed a winning Diamond Mine ticket bought at K & H Food Stop on Fairfield Avenue.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $2 per ticket, began in September, and the top prize is $10,000.

More than 1 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.78.
