Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Bridgeport

A Brookfield resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Brookfield resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket he purchased in Bridgeport, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Thursday, James F. claimed a winning 30X Cash 10th Edition ticket he bought at Stanley Foodmart on Huntington Turnpike.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $30 per ticket, began in February 2023, and as of Friday, 15 grand prizes of $30,000 remained unclaimed, and 10 second-place prizes of $10,000 still remain.

More than 1 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.53.
