Woman Files Suit Against City Claiming Sexual Harassment

A woman who worked for the city claims she was sexually harassed.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A woman has filed a suit against the city claiming she was denied a permanent job with the city because she rejected sexual advances by former Public Facilities Director John Ricci, The Connecticut Post reported. Lisa Miro said she was fired shortly after filing a complaint with the state Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities.

Miro filed the suit in Superior Court and is seeking unspecified damages. Ricci has denied the allegations, according to The Post.
