Woman Saved from Exploding Car in Bridgeport: Report

The rollover crash occurred Friday morning on Wordin Avenue.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A woman was rescued early Friday after her car rolled over and exploded on Wordin Avenue in Bridgeport, reports the Connecticut Post.

The one-car crash occurred at about 7:40 a.m., and the woman, who was ejected from the vehicle, was transported to Bridgeport Hospital. Her identity and condition were not immediately available.

According to police, the car hit a curb and rolled over several times before colliding into concrete barriers and fencing.
