2 Charged for Interferring with Accident Investigation

Two arrested for allegedly interfering with a DUI investigation.

Two Brookfield residents were charged with allegedly interfering with Brookfield police during an accident investigation in December 2012.

As a result of the investigation into the December accident, Cynthia Klusmeyer, 48, of Clearview Drive, Brookfield, was charged with the single count of interfering (non-assaultive) and released on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on March 26.

Gary Klusmeyer, 58, also of Clearview Drive, Brookfield, was charged with interfering (non-assaultive), as well as failure to drive a reasonable distance apart from another vehicle, evading responsibility and operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol. He was released on $5,000 bond with a court date scheduled for March 26.
