2 More Coronavirus Cases At Center School In Brookfield

All Brookfield schools switched full remote learning last Wednesday, and are scheduled to return to the hybrid attendance model on Dec. 7.​

BROOKFIELD, CT — Two more members of the Center School community have tested positive for the coronavirus, Superintendent John Barile wrote in an email to families on Sunday. The affected people have been instructed to remain home and isolate for 10 days.

The last day they were at Center School was Nov. 13.

Anyone who is considered a "close contact" with the infected people have been contacted by now or will be contacted very soon and provided with instructions on the appropriate steps to take, which includes quarantine for 14 days.

"As the health metrics continue to change we will closely monitor the COVID-19 data trends in collaboration with the Brookfield Health Department and our District Medical Advisor," Barile said.
