BROOKFIELD, CT — A new indoor play center designed for young children and families is set to open in Brookfield next week.
Gliders Indoor Play, located at 802 Federal Road, will celebrate its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 15 at noon, according to Brookfield officials.
Founded by Samantha and Joe Southard, the business features imaginative play areas, sensory activities and gross motor experiences designed to encourage learning and exploration through play.
The owners said the facility was inspired by Samantha Southard's background as a special education teacher and was built with the goal of creating a welcoming space where children can learn, play and connect with others.
To mark the opening, Gliders will offer complimentary open play sessions from June 15 through June 19. Reservations are required and space is limited.
