The Brookfield Commission on Aging, in response to a need expressed in our recent survey, proposes to establish a FISH program to match Brookfield ambulatory disabled and/or senior residents who need transportation to medically related appointments with drivers willing to supply it.
FISH helps people as neighbors help each other. It asks of its members the personal involvement of being a volunteer driver for one week day per month.
We will be holding an organizational meeting for drivers and potential drivers on Wednesday, June 22, at 10 a.m. at Brookfield Senior Center.
