Board of Finance Approves Town Budget for 2016-2017 Fiscal Year
The Brookfield Board of Finance made the decision at last Wednesday's meeting.
BROOKFIELD, CT — The Board of Finance voted Wednesday, April 6 to approve the Town of Brookfield 2016-2017 Town Budget as follows:
- Town Operating Budget in the amount of $16,854,638
- Town General Contingency in the amount of $445,481
- Education Budget in the amount of $40,381,472 (contingent upon Superintendent Barile's confirmation that the additional $100,000 discussed is not in error)
- Capital in the amount of $1,310,094 Debt Service in the amount of $4,412,675
- Total Town and Education Budget in the amount of $63,404,360.
