Bobcats' Second Half Surge Pushes Them Past Kolbe-Cathedral

After a slow start and allowing their first goal all season, Brookfield rallied to score 5 unanswered in a 5-1 win over Kolbe Cathedral Monday afternoon.  Lucas Rodrigues continued his hot streak by scoring 4 goals while Austin DaSilva added one of his own.  Despite the scoreline, the boys were disappointed in their performance.  Allowing their first goal of the season just added salt to the wound especially to the Bobcat defense who takes pride in their shutouts.  Despite the chagrin in their fourth showing of the year, Senior captain Nick Ribeiro was optimistic about the rest of the season.  "[The season thus far] is good.  We have good chemistry and the season is ours to lose."  Behind the confidence and strong leadership of Ribeiro, Brookfield looks to bounce back as they take on a tough team that is the Oxford Wolverines on the road, Wednesday night at 7.
