The Brookfield High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse team is 7-0 on the season and look to add another conference win against Weston to secure home field advantage in the SWC Playoffs.
Come support the Brookfield High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team (7-0) as they take on SWC Rival Weston, Thursday, 4/25 at BHS Stadium Field. The match up begins at 6:00pm.
The Bobcats’ high powered offense is averaging 14 goals per game this season. Junior attackmen Liam Clancy, Shane Madden, and Dane Heckmann have combined for 89 points on the season (56 Goals, 33 Assists). The attack is complemented by midfielders Tim Tremaglio (22 points), Gus Warner (15 pts) and JT Redd (10 pts). Redd is .763 percent at the Faceoff X this year, and has posted at least 15 FO wins in three games this year.
Weston will have their hands full trying to score on Brookfield’s stingy defense. The Bobcats have given up just 3.29 goals per game, who are led by senior goalie Jacob Maddox (.735 save percentage, 3 shutouts, and 1 complete game shutout). Joey Dixon (19 GB’s 20 TA’s), John Vitti (13 GB’s, 15 TA’s), and Kyle Spera (12 GB’s, 7 TA’s) help Maddox shut down their opponents around the cage. Additionally, AJ Sussingham (39 GB’s), Aidan Moores (34GB’s, 9 TA’s) and Rick Hegarty (12GB’s), round out the defense for the Bobcats. As a Team, the Bobcats have scooped up 320 Groundballs and recorded 66 Takeaways in 7 games.

Thursday’s game will have SWC Tournament seeding implications, with Brookfield entering the game 2-0 vs. SWC Division I opponents. The Bobcats have already clinched a playoff berth for the 2013 CIAC State Tournament.
