The Brookfield Arts Commission Unveils a Modern Visual Identity Alongside the Launch of a New Digital Hub
The Brookfield Arts Commission (BAC) proudly announces a comprehensive revitalization of its public presence.

The Brookfield Arts Commission (BAC) today proudly announced a comprehensive revitalization of its public presence, marked by the synchronized launch of an expansive new website—www.bac-ct.org—and the unveiling of a deeply symbolic new official logo.
The dual milestone represents a deliberate leap forward in the Commission’s mission to connect, amplify, and sustain the local creative community. Built to serve as the central nervous system for Brookfield's cultural landscape, the new website bridges the gap between regional creators and the community, offering streamlined access to art programming, scholarships, and collaborative opportunities.
Simultaneously, the Commission is retiring its legacy branding in favor of a new logo meticulously designed to mirror the geographic majesty and artistic spirit of Brookfield. Every aesthetic choice within the new insignia carries an intentional town narrative:

- The Artistic Foundation: The fluid, organic brush strokes forming the "BAC" monogram serve as a direct testament to the physical and expressive act of creation, establishing art as the foundation of the organization. It also uses “Brookfield Blue”.
- The Mountains: Rising prominently at the center, the taller "A" in BAC is sculpted to signify the mountains, rolling hills, and natural highlands that define the Brookfield landscape.
- The Border Waters: Anchoring the design beneath the formal "Brookfield Arts Commission" typography is a distinct, curved blue brush stroke—a vivid tribute to the town's stunning local waters, Candlewood Lake and Lake Lillinonah.
"The logo celebrates our natural geography and creative spirit, while the website provides the practical architecture to support it. Whether you are a filmmaker uploading a submission for our annual festival, a student applying for an arts scholarship, or a resident discovering a local gallery opening, this platform belongs to you.”, said Gary Blumberg, the Brookfield Arts Commission Chair.
The newly engineered digital portal brings several immediate enhancements to the community ecosystem:
