📰 News we're reading
• CT GOP leadership lobbies for gas, diesel tax holiday (westfaironline.com) — Connecticut Republican leaders, including Brookfield's state senator Stephen Harding, are pushing Governor Ned Lamont and Democrats to suspend state gas and diesel taxes through year's end to ease high fuel costs. They argue the transportation fund has enough reserves, while Lamont's camp counters that Republicans are echoing ideas he previously proposed without giving credit.
