The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it. *
I plan to continue the progress that has been made over the past several years of increased collaboration and communication among town boards. As a board member I will listen to input from the residents of Brookfield and put forth responsible budgets that support the needs of our community.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post? *
I listen. I mean, really listen. As current Chairman of the Board of Finance, I give everyone at the table, regardless of party affiliation, several chances and encouragement to give their input and voice comments and/or concerns about every topic we are discussing. I do not dismiss anyone’s point of view because, after all, anyone at the table is there because they are valuable to the community and the conversation.
List other issues that define your campaign platform:
Educating the community on the fact that government is in the business of providing services so that they may understand what is possible from and provided by their local officials and local government to support them as residents and tax payers.
The best advice ever shared with me was ...
You can’t do it all. Do what you can do and do it the best you can.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I am first for Brookfield and second for party. We need to be mindful that the decisions we make at the local level have a great impact on our residents, which is why sound leadership is key. I am proud to be a part of that leadership team moving Brookfield forward in a positive and collaborative manner.
