Brookfield Celebrates National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week

Brookfield Police Department is celebrating the second full week of April (April 9-15) as National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. This week, sponsored by the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International and celebrated annually, honors the thousands of men and women who respond to emergency calls, dispatch emergency professionals and equipment, and render life-saving assistance to the world’s citizens.

Every day these highly trained professionals work side by side with our Police, Fire and EMS professionals to keep Brookfield safe. Mostly unseen by the public, these dedicated professionals are the first to answer the call for help. Without them properly taking your complaint or emergency request, lives would be lost.

Thank you to men and women who work each and every day 24 hours a day 7 days a week to keep our Police, Fire and EMS rolling to make Brookfield safe.
