Brookfield Charity Helps Senior With Brain Cancer by Building Handicap Ramp

A Brookfield charity, a Danbury church, a New Milford man and team of volunteers recently joined forces to help a senior with brain cancer.

BROOKFIELD, CT — The Pastor of Danbury Church of Christ recently reached out to Handy Dandy Handyman, a Brookfield-based charity, for help for a senior living with brain cancer.

The woman needed a lightweight wheelchair, which the charity donated, as well as a single bed for her husband to stay with her until her hospital bed arrives.

Peter Brady, founder and "Boss Man" of Handy Dandy Handyman, recently organized a team of volunteers to build a handicapped ramp on her home so she can get to her medical appointments.
