Brookfield Coronavirus Updates: One More Active Case
Here are the latest, local updates on how the coronavirus outbreak is impacting Brookfield.

BROOKFIELD, CT — The state Department of Public Health has confirmed there are 59 cases of the new coronavirus in the Town, up from 58 reported Wednesday.
Statewide, 27 people died during the past 24 hours which brings the total number of coronavirus related deaths in Connecticut to 112, Gov. Ned Lamont said Thursday.

Among 216 nursing homes in CT, 42 (19 percent) have had at least one confirmed case of COVID-19. A total of 150 nursing home residents with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 have been identified of whom 64 (43 percent) were hospitalized and 15 (10 percent) have died.
