Brookfield Democrats to Hold Annual BBQ

BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield Democratic Town Committee will host its annual barbecue at the Town Hall Bandstand on Sunday.
Raffles, games, music and a menu of hot dogs, hamburgers, sides, and dessert will be offered. Residents will have the opportunity for informal conversation with federal, state and local Democratic elected officials and candidates, including Daniel Pearson who is running for State Representative for the 107th District, Jahana Hayes, who is running for U.S. representative for the fifth district, Denise Merrill, who is running for secretary of the state, and Chris Mattei, who is running for attorney general.
The event is scheduled from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday. The suggested donation per adult is $35 if purchased online or $40 at the door. Children under 12 will be admitted free.
