Brookfield Democrats to Host ‘Get Involved' Open House
The event is free and open to the public.
BROOKFIELD, CT — The town Democratic committee will be hosting a forum Tuesday night to encourage residents to participate in local politics.
The third annual "Get Involved Open House" will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on March 26 at Panchos & Gringos on 779 Federal Road. Current and former town board and commission members will be on hand to talk directly with individuals about their experiences in public service and running for office. There will also be printed information available.
“The recent passing of the New School Project referendum shows what we can accomplish when we have the right team working together,” said Brookfield Democratic Town Committee Chair, Laura Orban. “I know there are more great people out there who just need a chance to find out how to share their talents.”
