Brookfield Dems: Anti-BLM Letter 'Not Who We Are'

The letter's author uses racist language to describe blacks, and refers to the letter's "virtue signaling" readers as "loud mouthed phonies"

BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield Democratic Town Committee took to social media Saturday to denounce a letter reportedly distributed to residents prior to a Black Lives Matter rally in town.

The DTC shared a photo of the letter on Twitter.

The letter addresses "virtue signaling" white residents, and disparages the Black Lives Matter organization as an "anarchy-driven organization" with "no solutions" beyond "'defund the police.'" The letter's author uses racist language to describe blacks, and refers to the letter's readers as "loud mouthed phonies."
