Brookfield High School Graduation Party In Doubt, 'Urgent Need' For Funds, Officials Say

A fundraiser has been launched to save the popular tradition.

BROOKFIELD, CT — Since 1986 Brookfield High School has held a graduation party, and right now there is an "urgent need," to ensure the tradition continues.

A fundraiser called "SAVE BROOKFIELD GRAD PARTY" has been launched, and a goal of $60,000 has been set.

On the fundraiser it states, "For 40 years, the Brookfield community has come together with care, generosity, and a shared sense of tradition. The Brookfield High School Grad Party is more than a celebration; it is a promise of safety, unity, and community pride made possible entirely through the support of neighbors, families, and local businesses. Today, we invite you to join us in carrying this tradition forward and helping it continue for generations to come."
