Brookfield Senior Center Hosts Discussion on Veterans' Issues

BROOKFIELD, CT — The Brookfield Commission on Aging is urging veterans to attend a seminar on Saturday to hear experts discuss issues affecting them. The Commission is hosting the talk from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the Senior Center.
Marine Corp. Gunny Sgt. Orville Grizzle, Air Force Sgt. Joseph Beal and Army Capt. Miguel A. Rodriguez will be on hand to discuss the privatization of Veterans Affairs and similar topics.
Brookfield's Commission on Aging seeks to enhance the lives of present and future generations of the town's older citizens (individuals fifty-five years or older). The commission proposes and evaluates programs and services for older citizens in Brookfield. It informs and assists the town in the development, initiation, coordination and implementation of programs and services for older citizens.
