Brookfield Lions Sponsors a Food Drive Saturday Feb 24, 2018

The Brookfield Food Bank has notified the Brookfield Lions that the Cupboard is almost bare and it has to be replenished to serve our neighbors that are in need. The Brookfield Lions, who feels that where there is a need there is a Lion, is sponsoring this Food Drive and will be accepting donations Saturday February 24th at the Brookfield Market from 10 AM to 2 PM.
The Lions Club is the largest Service Organization in the World with over 1.4 million members in 45,000 Local clubs located in over 200 countries and territories. The Brookfield Lions support a number of local, regional and international causes including Pediatric/Adult Vision Screening, Connecticut Lions Eye Research Foundation, Eyeglasses for the Needy, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Red Cross Blood Drives, Ability Beyond and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The Brookfield Lions meet on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month.
