Brookfield Police Assist in Finding Suspects in Home Invasion
Brookfield, Newtown and Bethel police and K-9 units performed an extensive search to find two men who broke into a house in Bethel.

Motorists traveling from Brookfield to Bethel had a hard time getting home Wednesday evening as three towns’ police forces blocked off roads while police and K-9 unites searched for two men who broke into a Bethel home.
Police blocked off Stony Hill Rd. at Grey’s Bridge Road in Brookfield, detouring drivers up West Whisconier.
Two men were arrested Wednesday after police said they broke into a home on Putnam Park Road, according to the News Times.

When the residents arrived home about 6:30 p.m., they discovered their door was damaged, heard voices and called police.
Police caught the suspects and arrested Max Grabler, 19, of High Ridge Road, Stamford, and Paul Tirpack, 20, of Charles Street, Stamford for second-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief.
