Brookfield Police: Lock Your Cars

Rash of break-ins prompts police to warn residents not to leave their vehicles unlocked.

Brookfield police are asking local residents to be especially conscious of locking their parked cars when at home after a rash of break-ins over the last week and a half.

According to Chief Robin Montgomery, 15 unlocked vehicles have been broken into and robbed while parked in their owners’ driveways since July 9, most in the area of Prospect Drive. As of this posting, police do not have any suspects.
