Dear Parents/Guardians, The Brookfield Board of Education has been using School Meals Assistance Revenue for Transition (SMART) Funds to supplement the cost of one lunch per student per day. These funds will end in January 2023. The last day for all students to receive free meals is JANUARY 31, 2023. Starting FEBRUARY 1, 2023 all students, who have not qualified for free or reduced-priced meals, will begin to pay for lunch. The cost for lunch is:
