Brookfield Residents Lose Power as Storms Sweep State

BROOKFIELD, CT — A wave of thunderstorms has left several homes without power, Eversource is reporting.

As of 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 27 customers have been affected, the utility posted on its outage list.

Ashford, Ellington, Naugatuck and Stafford have been hardest hit, since the storm watch was issued at 1:15 p.m on Wednesday. The National Weather Service has posted a severe thunderstorm watch across Connecticut until 9 p.m.
