The Brookfield Conservation Commission will host the 3rd Annual Farmfest at the Gurski Homestead this Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 11am - 4pm. There will be hayrides, antique tractors and machinery, and exhibits from the Brookfield Conservation, Historical Society and Master Gardeners who are willing and ready to answer your gardening questions, There will be food vendors including Catering by Roxanne and the Good Luck Food Truck as well as local area produce by Kimberly Farms in New Milford, plants and gifts from Shakespeare’s Garden in Brookfield and many others! There will be children’s games and animals to see.as well as a pie contest, bluebird housebuilding, and many other activities. The event is free and all donations will go towards restoration of the Gurski Homestead and other Conservation projects. See you there!
