The Urban Archeologist is planning a special presentation at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library on Nov. 8.

Greg Van Antwerp, community access supervisor at Charter Communications and self-described urban archeologist (who prefers the spelling without the extra “a”), will delve into the world of yesteryear though a slideshow of antique photos.

The presentation is being sponsored jointly by the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library and the Monroe Historical Society. The presentation will take place at 1:30 p.m. in the Ehlers Meeting Room and preceded by the society’s annual meeting and a video depicting the society’s Rail-Trails Tour.
