Why are you seeking this office?

As a health and early education advocate for the past 16 years I’ve seen first hand how slow progress takes in government. I’m running to bring change in the NOW. Families in the 30th district shouldn’t have to wait to see real support for housing, health care and childcare cost.

Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ___, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The cost of living, and I intend to champion expansion on Access Health CT, pass universal or low cost childcare and find creative ways to support additional work force housing. Making sure our community who lives here gets to continue to live here.

Support for reproductive health, support for our educators… pensions and other benefits, hybrid meetings, health expansion to support small businesses, Paid Family Medical Leave.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

Environmental protections, keep our lakes clean and our trees intact

$183 million dollars that just went to child care providers. I help draft that bill and get it passed.

Access Health CT, I signed up 15,000 people on health insurance

Be kind, you never know what someone is going through.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

There is a ballot referendum to expand our voting rights in Connecticut this election, please VOTE!
