BROOKFIELD – The Brookfield Chamber of Commerce has rescheduled its debate this fall between the two candidates for first selectman – Republican challenger Mel Butow and Democratic incumbent Steve Dunn.

The event, which had been slated for October 22, will now be held on Monday night, October 28, at 7 o’clock in the Seminar Room at Whisconier Middle School. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Scott Benjamin, a reporter for Brookfield Patch and an online Political Science instructor at the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley, will be the moderator
