Connecticut Master Chorale Announces 2026-2027 Season

With the theme “Rejoice!”, our Annual Holiday Prelude Concert on November 22nd includes a unique variety of selections for Christmas, Winter, Advent, and Hanukkah, joyous carols, gospel, jazz, swing and more. A special feature will be “An Eastern European Holiday”, with music from Romania, Russia, Slovakia, and Ukraine.

The concert will be accompanied by the Connecticut Master Chorale Holiday Brass and Joseph Jacovino, Jr. on piano.

On April 4th, the Chorale will present "CREATION" by Dan Forrest. Dr. Forrest unfolds a spectacularly sweeping score in "CREATION", his newest and most expansive work thus far. Designed as a symphonic masterwork, it explores the wonders of creation through a dazzling variety of musical expressions. Reviews have hailed "CREATION's cinematic quality, called it Dr. Forrest’s “most sophisticated composition” to date, “the most joyful, exuberant piece of music”, and described it as “a thrill!”.

The Chorale will be joined by Soprano soloist Louise Fauteux and accompanied by the Connecticut Master Chorale Orchestra.

Both concerts will be held at the First Congregational Church, 164 Deer Hill Ave., Danbury.
