Coronavirus: Brookfield High School Switches To Remote Learning
Brookfield High School, unable to fully staff as COVID-19 cases and quarantines stack up, will switch temporarily to full distance learning.
BROOKFIELD, CT — Brookfield High School will transition to full distance learning, effective Tuesday.
Schools Superintendent John Barile announced the move Monday night in an email to familes.
"Over the past weekend and continuing through today, we have learned that 12 staff members of the Brookfield High School community must quarantine in response to being a primary contact of someone with COVID-19 or other reasons," Barile wrote. "As a result, we are unable to provide coverage for the faculty and staff who are required to quarantine in compliance with CDC, state and local regulations."
