The other candidates are: Joseph Levanti, Kenneth Schwartz and Rosa Fernandes for the Board of Finance; Richard Briggs, Caroline Cowles and Adam Wollowick for the Board of Education.

Also, Shannon Riley for the Board of Assessment Appeals; Curtis Timmerman, Marc Loewengart and Brian McGovern for the Planning & Zoning Commission; and Douglas Clemons for the Zoning Board of Appeals.

Riley said the DTC spend months assembling the slate and spent hours interviewing prospective nominees. The party held a recruiting event on May 1 at Twins on Junction Road.

“The DTC has worked tirelessly to assemble a slate of candidates that represents the very best Brookfield has to offer,” commented Dunn. “I couldn’t be more proud to run with this incredible group of people.”

Timmerman, an unaffiliated voter running on the Democratic ticket, expressed his appreciation for the DTC’s inclusive approach: “I’m grateful that the Brookfield Democrats welcomed me onto their slate. Their willingness to include unaffiliated voters demonstrates a real commitment to ensuring all voices in our town are heard.”
