Drivers Extricated After 2-Car Crash Wednesday

A minor two-car accident shut down a portion of Federal Road briefly Wednesday evening as emergency responders extricated passengers from the vehicles.

Both drivers suffered only minor injuries but, due to the nature of the crash, both had to be cut from their vehicles. They were transported to Danbury Hospital for treatment.

Federal Road remained closed at Old New Milford Road at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday as crews finished cleaning up and towing the vehicles.
