Emily Maynard, 93

Emily L. Maynard, 93, of Brookfield, wife of the late Clinton Maynard, died peacefully at her home on Friday, March 1. She was born in Danbury on Oct. 2, 1919, daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Marasco) Strumolo.

Mrs. Maynard was a devoted wife and mother who lovingly maintained the family home. She loved animals and music. In her younger years she enjoyed volunteering as a Girl Scout Leader.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Robin Maynard and her boyfriend, Kris; her sister Dorothy Brown; her two nieces Barbara Mirabito and her husband, Fred and Heather Duhume.

She was predeceased by her brother, Ronald Strumolo.

Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
