Tip of the week: "Turn off lights when you leave the room" (simple one, right??).
Consider this: if we have 1 hundred thousand people in Connecticut turn off their 60 watt light when not in use for ONLY 2 hours per day, then, based on electric rates in our area, we would save almost $1700 per day, and, we would reduce our carbon dioxide emissions by 28,800 lbs per day!! What a great Holiday gift that $1700 per day would be for our favorite charity (remember, PER DAY..what if we turned them off for 3 hours per day!)
Do you see the power and the magnitude of how much we collectively can save?
