When I returned home that afternoon, there was an excavation truck leveling the spot where, hours later, a smoke house was built.” -Danielle Gallop Mike is a professional who will stop at nothing to bring you the best food and provide the best experience out there. The Danbury Lady Whalers will be holding an evaluation skate and invite any girl with some skating experience to join them.  Teams generally practice twice weekly and play approximately 30 games during the season in the CGHL.  The season runs from late September through March. Times: 6:00 p.m. for ages 14 and younger, and 7:10 p.m. for ages 15-19.  Cost is $50 which will be applied toward season fee.  Goalies are FREE and will have a reduced season fee. Spend the day at the river — and stay for the fireworks!
RiverFest returns to Young’s Field on Saturday, October 3, bringing friends, families and neighbors together for a full day of music, food, activities and fun along the banks of the Housatonic River.
And this year, RiverFest has a spectacular new finale. As evening arrives, River Lights will illuminate the riverfront at 6:30 pm, followed by fireworks at dark.
Admission is FREE.
