Expect Delays: Water Infrastructure Work To Begin In Brookfield
Brookfield's pump station replacement project is scheduled to start Dec. 18
BROOKFIELD, CT — Aquarion Water Company has announced the construction of a pump station replacement is scheduled to begin on Nabby Road in Brookfield on Dec. 18,
Oxford-based Kovacs Construction will be serving as the general contractor for the project.
Due to construction, residences and businesses should expect minor traffic delays and possible detours during regular working hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., according to a statement from Aquarion. The project is expected to be completed in September 2024.

"We greatly appreciate residents’ patience during this project," said Mike Hiltz, Aquarion’s manager of Capital Delivery, Engineering and Planning. “We will work closely with our customers, contractors, and town officials to coordinate the work and minimize disruptions.”
