Former Brookfield Public Schools Official Faces Larceny and Forgery Charges

The former official turned himself in after learning of a warrant for his arrest.

Colley, 57, of Danbury turned himself in Monday morning after learning there was a warrant for his arrest, the news channel reports. Police began an investigation on Jan. 28 after a complaint was filed regarding an incident that occurred in February 2014.

Colley was charged with second degree larceny, defrauding a public community, and third-degree forgery and was released after posting a $10,000 bond and is due in court March 20.
