Four Corners Streetscape Project Gets State Approval: Report
The Brookfield project's costs would have increased if the construction was pushed until next year.

BROOKFIELD, CT — The state has approved the Four Corners Streetscape project after a month-long wait for state approval, according to the News Times.
First Selectmen Steve Dunn told the News Times the state signed off on the $3.5 million project on Monday, and that the town is expecting to begin advertising the bid package Tuesday. Voters approved the project in February.
Dunn told the News Times that the project would have been pushed until next year had it been delayed further, but now no longer anticipates that being an issue.
