Man Allegedly Assaulted at Brookfield Goodwill

The incident occurred earlier this month.

A Bridgewater man is accused of assaulting a person with a baseball bat at the Goodwill Super Store in Brookfield, the News Times reports.

According to the paper, Peter Suarez, 40 reportedly drove away after the May 9 incident. He then allegedly became uncooperative and confrontational as he was placed into custody.

Suarez was charged with second-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace and interfering with an officer.

He is being held on a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court June 4, the paper reports.
