To the Editor,
Restore integrity? Save our schools? I shake my head when driving around town and see signs with those statements in support of Democrat Steve Dunn. I do a double take when I see Dunn’s postcards – one in which he reads to children and another when he commits character assassination against our First Selectman.

Dunn’s integrity rivals that of Howard Lasser, who failed (again) last winter in his smear campaign against (now) State Rep. Stephen Harding.
Integrity is NOT claiming you were trusted with “$2 Trillion” in assets at JP Morgan Chase when, in reality, JP Morgan Chase has $2.6 Trillion total assets, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Integrity is not saying “the people” aren’t being listened to, when “the people” you reference are those that want higher spending and taxes, ignoring everyone else. No one should even think of leading the Town of Brookfield if he or she does not believe that they will be First Selectman for ALL of Brookfield, not just the portion Mr. Dunn caters to.
As for “Saving our schools” – this divisive statement is exactly the sentiment disgraced former Superintendent Anthony Bivona used to pit school parents against senior citizens and empty nesters for years. Brookfield does not need a return to this!
Mr. Dunn’s priorities are clearly wrong for Brookfield. He would clearly favor one segment of the population over all others. For this reason, he does not deserve to be First Selectman.
Brookfield needs a First Selectman for all of us, with passion for the community and who works night and day to help it be the best it can be.
We have such a leader in Bill Tinsley. Vote Row B on November 3.
George Blass, Brookfield CT.
