Parish Picnic

The congregation of St Joseph’s celebrated family at St Joe’s Annual Picnic last Sunday, Sept 15. They shared great food with friends and family, enjoying a late summer day. The international buffet, hosted by parishioners, included foods from all over Europe to Brazil and the Philippines, and BBQ with typical standbys of burgers, hot dogs and salads. The children had plenty of fun: a bounce house, limbo and sack races, and other games. Annie's Animal Farm hosted a petting zoo by for the children. Children – and some adults – went to the crazy hair station, joined in on the water balloon toss and were brave enough to learn a new Hawaiian dance.

Thanks to the more than one hundred women, men and children volunteers. We could not have done it without you. Thanks as well to our wonderful suppliers: Durkin Tents, Hog Wild BBQ, Ingersoll Auto, Mitchell Oil, New England Bounce About, Omaha Beef, Rocco’s, and the St. Rose and Immaculate students.
