Penguin Plunge in Brookfield Will Benefit Special Olympics
Event will take place at Brookfield Town Beach, March 19th

All are invited to sign up for a new event - the Brookfield Penguin Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut - which will take place on Sunday, March 19th at Brookfield Town Beach. Participants in the Plunge will jump into the chilly waters to support Special Olympics' year-round sports, health and fitness programs for athletes around the state and help create communities that accept and include people of all abilities. Brookfield Town Beach is located at 460 Candlewood Lake Road in Brookfield. On the day of the event, check-in will begin at 11:30 a.m. and the Plunge will take place at 1 p.m. To register and find out more, visit soct.org. Registration is $25 and participants are asked to raise an additional $75 to support Special Olympics athletes. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
