A Brookfield officer reports observing Rachel Dulko, 32, of Bethel, traveling southbound on Federal Road without illuminated taillights. After being pulled over, Dulko allegedly failed a field sobriety test and was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and a failure to have lights lit and devices illuminated. Dulko was released on bond with an order to appear in court on April 23.
Monday, April 13Brookfield Police responded to a one-car rollover accident that occurred on Federal Road in front of Costco. Based on the operator's statement, it was determined that the Toyota Tacoma's accelerator got stuck on Old Stone Road, causing the vehicle to travel at a high rate of speed through the parking lot of 195 Federal Road.

The operator could not stop the vehicle with the emergency brake. The vehicle traveled through the parking lot, jumped the curb and flipped over in the middle of Federal Road. The operator had to be extricated from the vehicle by emergency personnel. Both the operator and one passenger were taken to Danbury Hospital for further evaluation.
Tuesday, April 14At approximately 6 p.m., a juvenile came to police headquarters and surrendered to an arrest warrant resulting from an incident that occurred on Feb. 21. The juvenile was released to a guardian with a court order to appear on May 3.
