Robert Oppenheimer, 44, of New York, NY, was pulled over at 1:11 a.m. for allegedly failing to stay in the proper lane on a multi-lane highway. Upon checking Oppenheimer's information, the officer discovered that he was driving with a suspended license.  Oppenheimer was arrested and charged with failure to drive in proper lane and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver's license.

Friday, June 11

Brookfield police responded to a report of a domestic violence dispute on Candlewood Lake Road at 8:18 p.m. After an investigation at the scene, Richard Lange, 23, of Brookfield, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

A one-car accident between exits 8 and 9 on I-84 East left two in critical condition around 2 p.m. Friday. State police are investigating the cause of the crash.
