Gary Haggas, 29, of Brookfield, was arrested at 2:25 a.m. after an altercation took place at his home on Laurel Drive. Police responded to reports of a disturbance and an investigation at the scene led to Haggas' arrest on charges of disorderly conduct. Haggas was unable to post bond and was arraigned at 10 a.m. that morning in Danbury Superior Court.
Saturday, June 26Ian Philibert, 38, of Bethany, CT, allegedly failed to obey a traffic control signal while driving through Brookfield at 4:24 p.m. After pulling Philibert over, police discovered that he was driving with a suspended license. Philibert was arrested and charged with failure to obey a control signal and operation of a motor vehicle while license is under suspension. He was released on $1,000 bail pending a court date July 6.
