Police Blotter: Domestic and DUI; Shoplifting Warrant
The following arrest information was supplied by the Brookfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, September 7
Officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Before arriving, it was relayed to the responding officers that the accused, Robert Cavallo, 54, of Forty Acre Mountain Road, Brookfield had left the scene in a vehicle and was traveling southbound on Candlewood Lake Road. Upon stopping the vehicle the officers observed that Cavallo appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. He subsequently failed field sobriety tests.
Officers then investigated the domestic violence complaint. Cavallo was charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol, disorderly conduct, and second-degree threatening. Bond was set at $2,000 and he was given a court date of September 8.

Jennifer Cruz, 27, of Fleetwood Drive, New Fairfield turned herself in to the Brookfield Police Department on an arrest warrant stemming from an incident that occurred on May 21, 2011. Cruz was charged in the warrant for larceny in the third degree: shoplifting and was released on a $1,000 bond. A court date of September 20 was set.
